Meet Xiaomi’s CyberDog: an open source robot dog designed to be human friendly. It can recognize its owner and follow humans. The robot is powered by the the NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX platform. It has 11 sensors, including touch/ultrasonic sensors, GPS modules, and cameras.
CyberDog comes with agile movement. It comes with autonomous object tracking, SLAM, and centimeter-scale obstacle avoidance and navigation. It can also be controlled with voice assistants. The company is selling 1000 CyberDogs for around $1600 each.
