XAG Drones Seeding Burned Land in Australia

Robotic Gizmos

Seeding drones are nothing new. The idea has been explored in the past. XAG has joined hands with DELWP and HDLN for a post-fire drone seeding mission in Australia. 3 P Series drones were equipped with JetSeed granule spreading system to distribute seeds directly on Lake Cobrico. Within 2 days, 40 hectares of burned land were covered with a blend of 12 different seeds.

XAG drones follow a preset flight route and use high-speed airflows to project seed from 3 meters above the ground.
