Meet the Velarray H800 LiDAR: a solid state LiDAR with perception rate of 0.1m to 200m for advanced driver assistance systems and autonomous applications. It has a configurable frame rate and resolution. ROBORACE’s Electric Autonomous Race Cars will be using it for the Season One championship series, which is set to begin in 2022.
This LiDAR system can handle corner cases on sloping or curving roads. It is built on Velodyne’s micro-lidar array (MLA) architecture. You can find out more about it here.
